Research focuses on measuring, understanding and predicting water stress and how water stress may change in the future with changes in climate and water demand. This work touches on hydrology, geology, remote sensing and water quality, as well as disciplines outside the department, such as biology, sociology and economics. Part of the focus of this research is to identify water management solutions and alternatives to build more sustainable systems.
