The Department of Earth Sciences and Engineering (ESE) at Missouri University of Science and Technology (S&T) invites applications for an open-rank tenure-track/tenured faculty position to fill the Karl F. Hasselmann Missouri Professorship in geological and petroleum engineering, beginning in August 2026. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in geothermal energy, geotechnical engineering, and engineering aspects related to critical mineral exploration and extraction.

Non-Tenure Track Faculty Position — Geospatial Engineering Teaching Professor

The Department of Earth Sciences and Engineering (ESE) at the Missouri University of Science and Technology (S&T) invite applications for a Teaching Professor (non-tenure track) position in Geospatial Engineering to begin in January or August 2026.  The primary responsibility of the successful candidate is to support a recently established Master’s degree in Geospatial Engineering. Details about the degree program can be found here. This position will be filled at the Assistant Teaching or Associate Teaching Professor level. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
