Program-Core Courses

Five core courses (totaling to 15 credit hours) are required, shown in Table 1. Of note is the “Capstone Project in Geospatial Engineering,” where students will provide a capstone experience focused on projects of interest and interact with experts from both academia and industry to learn real-world applications in various domains.

Students take 6 credit hours (choose two courses out of three) for their specialty area of interest.

Emphasis Area-Specific Elective Courses

In consultation with their advisor(s), students should select 9 credit hours of electives from the list of courses in Table 3. The courses should be relevant to the student’s background, interests, and program of study and be approved by the advisor.
